Gavel just wasn’t cut out to be a police dog. And that’s okay! The German Shepherd puppy from Queensland, Australia, “did not display the necessary aptitude for a life on the front line,” as they put it. He was far too friendly and fun-loving, but there are plenty of places in the world for playful pups such as him!
Although he didn’t work out with the police force, Gavel sure displayed the characteristics necessary to be named Queensland’s official Vice-Regal Dog! 🙂

It was meant to be! Life just seems to work itself out sometimes, and Gavel found himself in the absolute perfect place. 🙂
