How would you celebrate if you won the Super Bowl? Kansas City Chiefs’ defensive tackle, Derrick Nnadi, chose to celebrate his team’s big win by helping those in need.

Nnadi is paying for the adoption fees for all adoptable dogs at KC Pet Project in Kansas City.

During the season, Nnadi partnered with the former city dog pound turned animal shelter and sponsored the adoption fee for one dog after each Chiefs win.

So when the Chiefs won the Super Bowl, it was time to celebrate. KC Pet Project announced that all dogs that were available for adoption on February 2 would be able to go home with a forever family free of charge.

According to the shelter, the special is valid until all dogs that were available by February 2 are adopted.

What an awesome way to celebrate a Super Bowl win! Thank you, Derrick for sponsoring the adoption fees. I hope this will encourage people to go out and adopt a new family member.

Share this post to thank Derrick and spread the word about his incredibly generous offer!
