Group Of Disabled Dogs In Wheelcarts Play Fetch On Walk Together

This video warmed my heart! Watch as a group of disabled dogs in their wheelcarts enjoy a walk in the fields as well as running and playing fetch! Gritta Goetz, the dogs’ guardian, works at an animal sanctuary in Lanzenhainer, Germany. She has rescued and adopted eight dogs with disabilities, giving them a loving and inclusive home.

Gritta commented that the dog who always has the stick is the leader of the pack, but he lets the dogs with wheelcarts get the stick too. “Don’t worry, they are fast enough to get it. And the smallest paralyzed dog is the one who can “protect” the stick against everybody. If she gets it, even the leader has no chance anymore.” How cute is that?
