At a recent wiener dog race hosted by the El Paso Chihuahuas (that’s the name of the minor league baseball team), one dog created quite the stir when he broke from the pack and ran wild around the field.
The adorable long-haired Dachshund escaped from his owner and looked like he was having the time of his life, sniffing the bases and running around the diamond. Several players and ballpark staff tried to catch the dog, until he was finally successfully caught by his owner.
The wiener dog may not have won the $500 that night but he certainly won the hearts of the fans!
