There is no love as strong as the love of a mother. That because clearly evident when rescuers saw what a mother dog was doing for her puppies. The home where she was living collapsed and buried them under the rubble. Fortunately, Animal Aid Unlimited, India was there to help.

When the dog saw them, she wagged her tail and whined to ask for help.

The rescuers were fearful that the puppies were already dead but the mother dog was not about to give up. She may have sensed that the puppies were still alive so she put her nose to the ground and encouraged the rescuers to continue digging.

The rescuers were working but the mother dog saw the opportunity to help. She began digging and biting at the dirt, showing them where they would find the puppies. “She seemed to realize that they could suffocate at any moment.”

It took quite some time but they started to hear the dogs whining from below the rubble. They were covered but still alive. When they pulled the puppies free the mother inspected each of them. She seemed so relieved to have her puppies back again.

The story doesn’t end there. The family was relocated safe and sound and they plan on spaying the mother once the pups are weaned. It’s beautiful when we see people working to help our furry friends like this.

Dog rescuer Karlee was told of a situation where some puppies were living in a wood pile at a construction site that was actively being demolished. Locals had tried pulling the pups out, but they were too scared and didn’t trust humans. So Karlee arrived and set out some food and water, and the pups finally started approaching.

These rescuers were able to capture all of the pups, but they knew they must have a mother out here somewhere. So they’d return over the next few days to look for her. When they found her, she was even more skittish than her pups! But one community member who constantly fed her had a suggestion; He offered taking the pups saying that the mama would follow him.

So the man put them in his truck and started the journey to Karlee’s home. And it did the trick! Mama followed right behind for the 10-minute, multiple-mile trip as they stopped frequently to give her water breaks.

Now back at her house, she would have to work on luring the dog inside. After about a week, Mama was comfortable enough to go inside to relax. She was so happy to be with her little ones! This just shows the incredible will of a mother to go the distance and do anything necessary for her offspring. ?
