Bill Kells and his wife Krista discovered a severely emaciated dog outside their home. At first, they mistook the starving animal for a deer. A rescue team was immediately contacted, and the dog was soon found. Although frail, the dog appeared trusting.

Krista fell in love with the dog and named him Billy. They rushed him to the hospital, where doctors were uncertain if he would survive. Despite his weak state, Billy showed incredible spirit, and his new parents were determined to give him a fighting chance.

A fundraiser was created to help pay for Billy’s hospital bills, which were quickly mounting. People from all walks of life came together to support the cause and share Billy’s story.
Despite his sickly state, Billy slowly began to gain weight after Krista gave him physiotherapy every day for a month. He bonded with his new brothers and finally found a home where he felt loved and safe.

Billy’s story of survival and perseverance has brought hope and inspiration to people worldwide who are going through challenging times.
