If you ever tried to give your dog a pill, you know how it can be difficult sometimes. A few dogs are fine taking their medicine, and then there are dogs like Brutus. The giant Rottweiler must take pills for arthritis, but he isn’t too happy about that.
Instead of giving in and letting his dad put the pills down his throat, Brutus concocted the most hysterical plan to avoid it. He lays on his back, paws in the air, and he plays dead!
For nearly three minutes, his dad tries to get the dog up so he can administer the pills. No matter what he says or does, Brutus won’t budge.
Sometimes the dog will spit the pills out if they are hidden in food. The first time he froze up, his dad recorded it and put it on YouTube. The Internet couldn’t get enough of this hysterical pooch.
“Oh sweetie, Brutus,” he says to the oblivious doggo.
“Brutus, take your meds,” he says but the dog will not swallow the pills.
We can’t help but laugh at the lengths some dogs go to so they can avoid pills. He ends up swallowing one and spitting four out.
