A Texas family is devastated after they were forced to say their goodbyes to their beloved dying dog after they believe he was poisoned.
When Bear lost his appetite, his owner, Gino Hernandez, knew something was off. He kept a close eye on him, but when Bear hadn’t improved after a couple of days, he rushed him to the emergency room.
That’s when he and his wife were informed by vets that Bear was likely poisoned, and that there was nothing they could do about it.
The three-year-old dog’s kidney levels were extremely high, which doesn’t happen naturally to dogs that young, leading vets to believe that someone did this to him.
Bear was in pain and struggling for days while vets did everything they could to save him. After staying at the hospital for three days with no progress, the family had to make the difficult decision to put him down.
The family suspects their neighbor is the one who poisoned Bear, since she has threatened to kill and poison Bear in the past.
They are now seeking answers and plan on hiring a lawyer to seek legal action, but nothing will ever bring back their furry best friend.
