A woman was passing by a deserted road when she saw some dogs tied to a post on 2-foot chains in the blistering heat. The dogs seemed distressed but she thought that their owner would be nearby. However, it later occurred to her that the dogs could have been abandoned. She couldn’t sleep the whole night as she kept worrying about the dogs.

The next day, she drove back to the spot and her fears were confirmed. The dogs were still chained in the sun. They were starving and dehydrated and seemed to be on the brink of death. The woman rescued the dogs and placed them in the back of her car. She ended up crying at the unfair situation of these poor, homeless dogs.
