The saying is that if you feed an animal once, that’s all it takes for it to stick around forever. Well, this stray didn’t even have to see the food first before making himself right at home! The dog walks up to the stranger’s car, and the man asks “Do you want something to eat?”

A nice gesture, but the dog’s next move has the man quickly regretting it! The dog takes that as his cue to let himself in, and he starts climbing through the window to get inside. The man and his passenger are taken by complete surprise and panic at this unexpected move!

The camera shakes as the dog forcefully perches himself on top of the steering wheel, and they can’t help but laugh at what just transpired! Not long after, the stray makes his way to the passenger seat and looks back at the man as if to say, “So, about that food you promised…”

Dogs really are man’s best friend. If you’ve ever adopted an animal who has seen and experienced things no living being should ever endure, you’d know how hard it is for them to regain its trust in humans. But love and time are the two most powerful things that heal all ᴡᴏᴜɴᴅs.

Every day the streets of our cities are crowded with more and more desolate and hungry dogs. These animals lack the necessities of an ordinary dog, not only nutrition but also a shelter where they can be safe.

So, feeding a dog in this situation is an act of kindness that in our next story will not go unnoticed.
That’s precisely what the Twitter user, @SuavesLomitos, wanted to demonstrate and share with their followers through a post titled:

“How ugly it is to be hungry and not to be able to say it”

The post automatically went viral and garnered hundreds of reviews and more than 4,000 retweets.

As we can see in the Tweet post, the poor hungry dog sat beside tables of a restaurant to “beg” for a bite of food, resting his head on each of the chairs whose tables have customers to see if anyone would throw him some of their leftovers.

The person who shared this story was one of the customers at that time and was outraged by the behaviors of some customers who would not even share their small leftovers with the poor hungry pup.

The post warmed the hearts of netizens and many left comments, proof that the readers were moved by the humble attitude of this hungry dog.

“How sad it is to have 5 senses and not be able to perceive,” one user said as a critique of most people’s indifferent attitude.

However, another internet user had the initiative to suggest that people always carry a bag of croquettes so that, in these cases, they will not go hungry wherever they go. In that way, they may also be able to share extras with someone hungry, human, or otherwise.

“A good initiative is to carry a bag of croquettes. I know it would be best to rescue them or take them to a shelter, but when conditions are limited, as in my case, even if it’s a little love and a little food would be great,” a Twitter user said.

Even a woman who recognized the little dog commented that she had been by that puppy’s side and that she bought him some taquitos for him alone whenever he saw him. And it is that gesture, without a doubt, that prevents these homeless beings from going hungry… and it must be a priority.
Hope somebody will adopt these poor dogs.

There are so many stray dogs around the world, who are fending for themselves and relying on the kindness of people. But luckily, there are many good samaritans who will do whatever they can to help, providing them with food and warmth.

And sometimes, it’s the people you least expect, people who have the least to give, who are the most generous. That was the case recently, after a kind deed from a street vendor was caught on camera and has now gone viral.

The story comes from Puebla, Mexico, in a video shared by local news outlet Expreso.

A lone street vendor is seen walking down the street, carrying his goods on his back:

But he soon realizes he isn’t alone — two stray dogs are following him:

But instead of ignoring the dogs, he stops — and decides to feed them!

The black stray dog comes right up to him, and he gives him food from his supply, which the dog happily scarfs up.

Making sure both dogs are fed, he throws some food to the other stray, who is hanging back.

As a street vendor, he might’ve been able to sell that food, or even keep it for himself after a long day of work, but instead he decided to feed these hungry dogs, who have likely gone a long time without any food. There’s no doubt he made these dogs’ day a whole lot brighter.

Most inspiringly, he did so completely anonymously, unaware that his good deed was caught on camera.

“He was caught doing something unique when he thought no one was seeing him,” Expreso wrote.

His kind act has now gone viral, with over 4.6 million views in just a few weeks.

The man has not been identified and there is little else known about him, but according to Expreso the person who recorded the video “was amazed by the gesture and asked to meet this excellent person.”

While it was clearly a thankless act, hopefully the man can be found so he can see what an impact his good deed made on the internet.

“God bless you for such a noble gesture towards those little animals,” a top comment on the Facebook video reads.

Being kind to stray animals says a lot about a person’s character, and we’re so glad this man went out of his way to help these hungry dogs.

Adopting a rescue can really change a dog’s whole life. When a dog comes from nothing and only knows mistreatment and loneliness, the smallest things can make a world of difference.

That’s what one woman learned when she brought a new dog home, and saw his heartwarming reaction to one of the most basic things.

A woman named Susanne adopted a 10-year-old Jack Russell terrier mix named Neville. She already had rescue dogs at home, but when she saw Neville she knew she had to have him.

“I knew instantly that I loved him!” Susanne told The Dodo. “I queued for three hours outside the center to ensure I was the first to register my interest, and we bonded the moment we clapped eyes on each other.”

Neville had been found as an unclaimed stray. He was in poor condition: he wasn’t neutered and had poor teeth. While no one knows for sure about his past, it’s likely he was used for breeding.

It was clear that he had been treated badly in his past life… and some behaviors had to be untaught in his new home.

“At first, he used to compete for food and tried to feed directly from the floor or from my other dog’s bowl,” Susanne said.

But everything changed when Neville realized he didn’t have to fight for food—in fact, he had his very own bowl to eat from.

“I had to train him to eat from a bowl, and once he caught on to it, he treasured that bowl.”

Neville loved his own bowl so much that he never let it out of his sight… and even years later, he still sleeps with it at night.

“I think he just never had one of his own and now realizes he finally has one and is guaranteed a reliable source of decent, nutritious food,” Susanne told The Dodo.

“He just seems so heartbreakingly grateful for a simple bowl. I think it represents comfort and home for him.”

Rescue dogs come from so little that they appreciate the little things we all take for granted every day.

It’s an important reminder of why you should “adopt,” not “shop.” These dogs are in desperate need of love.
